Our Story
Your Journey Pilates was born out of a dream to help others discover the life-changing fitness and wellbeing benefits through the principles of Pilates.
We are dedicated Ladies out there supporting and encouraging other likeminded people to live and practice a life of healthy choices through exercise and nutrition.
We value the impact exercise has had on us and the connection we have made through our love of exercise. We love our lifestyle and the people we have connected with through the years, the friendships formed from the experience we have gained.

Health Journey
Starting a health journey is scary, trust us we know. Over the years we have talked to many people who want to build a healthier, stronger body but just don’t know where or how to start. We’ve also talked to many who are well into their fitness journey who are plagued by injury, exhaustion and burnout.
Maybe the thought of joining a gym is terrifying, motivation is lacking as there is no-one to hold you accountable, personal trainers are expensive and finding the right one is hard, or you just don’t have the time because life is so busy. We get it, we know how you feel! We have watched on as our mental health crisis escalates and we see people who are overwhelmed, overworked, stressed and tired. We are busier than ever and disconnected from our body and mind.
This is where Your Journey Pilates comes in. Our goal is to build a Pilates Community where you can strengthen, tone and move your bodies so you can get through anything life throws at you. When done regularly, Pilates can help you to achieve a strong, toned body as well as improve your mental wellbeing. Our classes will focus on Mat Pilates with the use of equipment such as Pilates balls, resistance bands and Pilates rings. We don’t require technical equipment to get the most out of our workouts.
Whether you are starting your fitness journey, want to gain strength and tone your body, or maybe you’re a professional athlete wanting to help with injury prevention and flexibility, we have something for everyone.
Maybe you’ve just had a baby and want to get back into exercise safely. Pilates is one of the best ways to workout after having a baby while looking after your body.
Pilates Classes
Our Pilates Classes offer a full body workout, with a strong focus on core activation and flexibility, while being low-impact and high energy. You’ll definitely feel like you’ve worked your entire body after each workout.
Posture and technique are key to getting the most out of your pilates exercises. Your Journey Pilates Instructors provide a smaller, personalised class environment, making sure you are doing the exercises safely and effectively to get the most out of them. We also put a strong emphasis on mind-body connection through breathing to ensure you move through each exercise correctly.
After each workout you will feel relaxed and energized, ready to tackle whatever life throws at you.
